Distinctly Average Blog

If you’ve found your way to my blog I’m hoping it’s because you are a distinctly average individual like myself.

You and I are ten a penny! Average height (which is probably a little bit shorter than you’d like), average weight (which is persistently on the wrong side of overweight), bored out of your mind in your job and always daydreaming that one day someone will say the wrong thing at work so you can smash the computer monitor on the floor and flick them the digit on your way out….

My mission? I have a ton of interests and pursuits on the go from peaceful parenting (I have 2 littlies) to weight loss, trading, investing, entrepreneurship and mental well-being, which I would love to get into with some fellow ‘distinctly averager’s. It’s not just about success stories. The failure stories are important as well. Navigating failure is navigating life and it’s hard because it hurts. But support from a community helps. Belonging to a community helps. Learning from a community helps and mentoring others in the community helps. I want to build a conversation space.

I have learned a whole lot in my pursuits to date, which I will share with you in my blog posts but please join me in sharing what you know, have learned and continue to learn in your distinctly average experience so we can build this community together.
